When to choose Ryze AI or groas
- You want to spend less on software. Ryze AI's Paid Ads Autopilot is $89 a month at any spend. Goldbeater's Starter plan is $249 a month and covers up to $50,000 of spend.
- You advertise beyond Google. Ryze AI covers Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads as well as Google, and groas runs ChatGPT Ads beside Google Ads. Goldbeater covers Google Ads only.
- You don't want to be involved. Both are built for that: groas acts on its own inside the guardrails you set, and Ryze AI can make changes unattended once you switch that on. That takes less of your time than any tool that waits for you.
- You want campaigns and ads made for you. Ryze AI generates creative and can create campaigns, and groas builds campaigns, writes ads and deploys landing pages. Goldbeater drafts changes to what's already in the account.
- You want a person answerable for the outcome. With groas, every account gets a named account manager, a Slack channel to its team and a monthly strategy call.
When to choose Goldbeater
- You want to own the account. Each week Goldbeater puts in front of you what an analyst would: the findings, their evidence, and an estimate of what each costs a month where it can be measured. Every decision stays with you.
- You want nothing to change on its own. A change reaches the account only when a person approves it and presses Apply, every applied change can be undone, and a campaign you've guarded refuses any change. No setting turns this off.
- You want to check the reasoning before you act. Goldbeater runs the same 24 checks the same way every week, and its agent shows every query it ran against your account to reach a finding.
How the two approaches differ
An autopilot is measured by results you didn't have to produce. Ryze AI audits accounts around the clock and, in its own words, “executes the fixes … instead of emailing you a list of suggestions.” The other autopilot here, groas, calls itself a fully autonomous engine, built to replace the humans at search marketing, with a named account manager setting its guardrails.
An analyst is measured by how well you understand the account afterwards, and by the calls you make. Goldbeater reads your Google Ads account every week, follows up on what its checks find, estimates what each problem costs where it can be measured, and drafts the change. You decide, and nothing moves until you do.
Ryze AI's help center describes a more cautious default than its pricing page leads with: changes that touch your accounts need approval, and it asks you to review its permissions before switching on unattended changes. Used that way, Ryze AI also waits for you, and the choice turns on the rest: more platforms and a lower price on one side, and on the other a fixed weekly review of Google Ads, the same checks every week, and every query shown.
Which suits you comes down to how you see the account. If Google Ads is a cost you want handled, an autopilot takes less time. If it's a lever you want to understand and pull yourself, you need the analysis in front of you, and that's what Goldbeater is built to give.
Using both, or switching
If you're leaving an autopilot, connect Goldbeater first and let its first review read the account as the autopilot left it. Then switch off the autopilot's unattended changes, so nothing moves that you didn't approve. Running both at once only makes sense while the autopilot also waits for your approval.
Questions
Does Ryze AI make changes without asking? Its help center says actions that change your accounts require approval by default, and that unattended changes can be enabled. Its pricing page sells it as running optimization around the clock, executed rather than only suggested, with approval controls.
Is Ryze AI's price really flat? Paid Ads Autopilot is $89 a month whatever you spend, and agencies pay $279 for unlimited workspaces. Its help center adds that usage is metered in credits, with the allowance shown inside your account.
What does groas cost? Its pricing page lists Paid Search at $999 a month, with organic search priced separately. You apply first, and its seven free days start once the engine is live after an onboarding call.
Can Goldbeater run on autopilot? No, and it never will. Goldbeater drafts changes and waits. A change reaches the account when a person approves it and presses Apply.
